Most Respected Guntanu'tl of the Free State of Renasia,
As a recently naturalized citizen of the Free State of Renasia, subject to the laws of Renasia Proper, I am submitting for your consideration an application to create a fourth Special Administrative Region (SAR) within Renasia that will be called Eridu, after the fabled primordial Sumerian city. I propose to enter into treaty negotiations with the Guntanu'tl in accordance with the Constitution of the Free State of Renasia.
Eridu is to be a Socialist SAR within larger Renasia. With its minarchist governmental structure, as well as its unique combination of Enlightenment values with Technocracy, Renasia is sure to be a good home for Eridu. Eridu will be an attempt to apply a socialist, communal, and anti-materialistic economic and cultural model to the development of technologies that will promote nonviolent change on Earth and the improvement of life for all people on Earth.
I am currently the only person within Eridu. In that sense I am the leader as well as the ambassador to the Free State of Renasia. This will be subject to change in the future in accordance with the as-yet unwritten treaty as well as the prospective Constitution of Eridu, if it is decided that one is necessary.
Eridu is to be on the land of my apartment building, as well as the Monowai Seamount and Kingman Reef, both located in the Pacific.
